Tennis Court LED Lights

Meeting Australian Standards: AS2560.2.1

The main objective when lighting outdoor tennis courts is to not only provide an even spread of light but to maximize the lux levels at 1m above the court where the action mostly happens. Asymmetric beam floodlighting is essential to reduce glare and ensure uniformity levels are as high as possible.

The Australian Standards for outdoor tennis court lighting AS2560.2.1 specifies 250 lux average as the minimum required level of lighting to ensure a game of tennis can be played safely and comfortably.

See below uniformity and glare requirements to meet the Australian Standard.
